This type of Engine House was a fairly common type of building during the steam era but can still be seen even today. The photos shown are photos of the actual assembled and detailed kit. The model is 5" long x 2" wide x 2.1/2" high. In Z Scale feet that would be approximately 85'x40'x36'. Unlike our smaller, single stall engine house, this larger, 2 stall kit has an engraved brick look to it as well as roof skylights and an office area.
