The original version of the post was known for it's incredibly range of angle and fore-aft adjustability. With the SL Speed Zipp has sourced Exogram™ carbon construction from parent company, SRAM, to make the post lighter and stronger, and maintaining the same level of adjustment with a completely new, more compact head design. SRAM Red fans will recognize Exogram™ as the technology that allows the carbon cranksets to deliver amazing power and stiffness at very low weight. When Zipp designed the SL Speed, bike fit and secure, simple adjustments were prioritized. The post is now offered in the 0mm offset (straight) design, and the 20mm offset (setback) option, giving more riders the opportunity to take advantage of the optimized clamping system. Round and square seatpost rails will fit this design, and the angle range is more than adequate for any saddle or fit requirement. The single bolt draws in from both sides, securely fastening the rails as desired with 12Nm of torque. The high quality fitment is machined from resilient, strong 6061 aluminum stock and has a wholly reliable M5 Steel bolt.
